Football won’t be singled out ....it’s any mass gatherings.....so the advice will be issued when it’s safe but interestingly this from the Danish health people

Fascinating to see the Danish Health Authority rank the effectiveness of virus control measures.

1. Isolating people with symptoms
2. Hygiene
3. Social distancing

I agree. Especially on improved hygiene - our hand washing campaign had more of an impact than we realised.

good luck with no.2 at parkheid and mordor!

Yip , Lots of mistakes , letting the Rangers game go ahead , Nike conference coverup , no transparency on wards at Gartnavel getting closed down , care homes .

Now we’ve got a track and trace which will never work after nearly 3 months of lockdown, no consultation with UK government who will pay the Wages if you’ve got to be off your work.

Surely you would check that first before you start rolling out a scheme like that.

See this thing about the Nike conference. It was their employees. Should they not have let everybody know ? They certainly closed their stores for deep cleaning!

It was known to the Scottish government but they didn’t think it was in the public’s interest to let them know , no idea why they tried to cover up .

Just another no win situation for the Scottish Government's detractors to exploit. Had they publicised it they'd be getting pelters for breaching patient confidentiality given the numbers were so small and easily identified!

They covered it up so well they informed Public Health England immediately and established a track and trace unit ... the health view is that patient confidentially directed their actions

Unfortunately, as I don’t subscribe I can’t read that. Does it say that Nike contacted everybody that was at that conference to tell them someone attending had brought Covid 19 in ?

It wasn’t just that , they failed at the first step of the track and trace , not relaying on for example that some of the Nike people who were at the conference were out and about trying on kilts in Edinburgh even though at that point they knew at that point there had been a positive test .

Same in Glasgow, closed the Nike shop suddenly for a deep clean without actually telling the rest of the building why they were doing that .

Undeniable at this point, this was when the Scottish Government should have taken control.

Not a dig at the Scottish Government, I would think the same if any Government had acted that way .

Not sure Nicola Sturgeon actually takes the blame for any bad decisions made , usually diverts them to Westminster.

Don’t want to get into a debate but there are various factual errors eg there was track and trace

You think something was a bad decision ....I don’t unless you think under test and protect they should publicise the name of everybody contacted

Think I said it was the first step of their track and trace , they didn’t do it very well , the reason/excuse publicising patient confidentiality was an absolute nonsense, were there any other Covid victims at source publicised ?

That's a crock of shit.

Ok ,

The care home deaths, because patients were sent back from hospital without being tested , brought to light by the media

The cover up of the Nike conference till it was brought to light by the media

The closing of wards at Garnavel after Covid patients were transferred from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, brought to light by the media.

Indisputable facts , maybe it was the media’s fault.

SPFL/SFA to ask government for permission to start the new 2020/2021 season as scheduled on August 1st. Meeting with sports minister tomorrow.

Can we cut the political crap now and discuss whether Thistle will be starting August 1?

Whats going to happen if all the wee diddy teams can’t/won’t play?

I hate to tell you but there's no-one cares about the wee diddy teams. Unless you are one or support one! Looks like Strachan, Budge and a good few others will get their cull of the clubs they don't rate or like!
