So if 5 from current league 1 say they can - Thistle, Falkirk and say for arguments sake Cove, Peterhead and Montrose along with 5 from league 2 - Queens Park and say Elgin, Edinburgh, Annan and Stenny giving a very convenient league of 10 and we play for 20/21 with Thistle top, Queens Park 2nd etc Cove 9th, Montrose 10th. So in any normal world(?) Thistle go up, Queens Park in play-off final after 3rd/4th teams dealt with, Montrose go down and Cove get a play off shot. Potential for Queens, a league 2 club to play in Championship after 1 season and Cove play......who? Do the 5 in league 1 who can't/won't play all automatically then play in league 2 when they do start again. Or is 20/21 just a pretend league and all back to square 1 for 21/22. What a mess. I'm sure it would all go to another dodgy SPFL vote - never get passed - all the hypocritical two-bob chairmen who didn't give a flying f*** about sporting integrity before will suddenly be up in arms and staggering about with their collective d**ks in their hands waiting on the knockout blow where we win a huge payout and bankrupt the dirty rotten lot of them! If you had a dodgy aerial on the old portable it used to show Parc*tl T&istel 112 v 11 Clide. I loved those victories.
BowenBoys
So, the SPFL are finally getting round to ascertaining the preparedness of virtually half of its member clubs. After wasting weeks with argument and votes. After announcing start dates for the rest of the clubs. Finally they are arming themselves with all the information needed to make an informed decision on the format for next season. Of course, this has nothing to do with the forthcoming legal action. One last vote possibly? A final attempt to save their skins?
gianlucatoni
Sturgeon announced outdoor sports from 29th June so there could conceivably have been time to play out the remaining games and delay start to next season by having it at 27 games

The panic induced April vote and the deal on the table was far too convenient for those teams close to relegation but not in the zone, those teams at the top and those who just wanted early money.

You could argue that it was QotS vote that relegated us, as the vote passed by just one in the Championship.

Seemingly it has went to court. Could take up to 6 weeks to find out if they will get their money. After Brexit the courts probably thought they were going back to their usual run of the mill stuff. Scottish football now keeping them busy.
