What if they shut down the season?

EF were completely in the right to refuse to fulfil this dead rubber - with many of their players worried about not being paid by their main employers should they have to isolate and/or potentially taking covid back to their pregnant wives, girlfriends and extended families.

They were effectively put in a no win situation and the idiots at Hampden - who are there for the members remember - show absolutely no common sense whatsoever yet again.

Last night Brechin beat Cowdenbeath. A result that makes it mathematically possible that they take Brechin's place at the bottom of League Two.

The hypocrisy of Donald “ Hello Hello “ Findlay is astounding, spouting sporting integrity because of the situation Cowdenbeath are in .

Never mentioned “ Sporting Integrity “ last season when we were relegated with a game in hand .

Difference being in his QC terms he wasn't representing US last season. I'll leave it others to work out what "QC" is really short for in this instance.

In the screwed up environment that is Scottish football, would anybody be surprised if East Fife end up getting punished for refusing to put their players in danger, while Clyde, who failed to ensure that their squad was covid-free, get awarded the points?

I think this is exactly what is going to happen.

Close elevenone.

East Fife fined £11k (£10k suspended). Game rescheduled for 6th May. Hope EF decide to appeal the fine. It can't be right that they are penalised for trying to protect their players and wider contacts.
