Personally I can't stand the guy. But why do you find the marriage of his brother and his wife's sister creepy? No blood ties. No family relationship other than in-laws. Seems ok to me.

I'd probably think it's a bit weird if my brother went out with my girlfriend's sister to be honest.

Add the word swingers in to that statement and see how it sounds

Okay, wee Tommy has been accused of having his pants down and has maybe told a few woppers in court. Big fu**ing deal! But can a leopard ever change its spots? Over the last year the Tories reverted to form and the following calendar of calamities shows how party members have continually been caught insulting voters and making racist remarks or sexist jokes.

As we're all aware, David "Call me Dave" Cameron has tried to ditch the "Nasty Party" image and had said: "Our members are the most socially-engaged, the most civic-minded, the most neighbourly bunch of people in Britain." But, true to form, this dossier of shame, compiled by Labour and entitled "A Year In The Nasty Party" proves that the Tories are still as bad as ever. The sad thing is that some people in Scotland actually voted for this mob. Enjoy -

January 15, 2009: Chester Conservative councillor Richard Lowe apologies after going to a New Year fancy-dress party dressed as Madeleine McCann.

January 28: Nottinghamshire Tory councillor David Taylor is criticised for hanging a topless calendar in his office.

February 25: Cumbria county council leader Tim Stoddard says that helping poor families pay for school uniforms is a waste of money.

February 28: Bolton Conservative councillor Bob Allen apologises after being slammed for posting a picture of a gorilla alongside a comment about an Asian colleague on a blog.

March 9: Leicestershire Tory councillor Robert Fraser claims gypsies would "stick a knife in you as soon as look at you".

March 11: Peterborough Conservative councillor Wayne Fitzgerald calls voters "idiots" and "morons" and tells one to "boil their head" after they disagreed with his plans for a new water park.

April 14: Derbyshire Tory councillor Patrick Clark calls gay people "sexual deviants".

April 30: A Conservative councillor in Essex, Chris Walker, apologises for saying British women should walk nude in the street to make Islamic men commit suicide because their religion forbids them from seeing any naked woman other than their wife.

May 27: Former Conservative Party candidate Ross Coates says "all women should be sterilised" to stop them getting pregnant at work, employment tribunal is told.

May 29: The leader of East Sussex county council, Peter Jones, says he is "good value for money" after receiving £91,000 in allowances and expenses in just one year.

June 12: Tory MP Peter Lilley attacks the help given to pregnant women, saying payments for food and baby equipment are "complete rubbish".

June 24: Kidderminster Conservative councillor Mumshad Ahmed, who twice drove while disqualified, apologises after a court bans him from driving for two years.

July 2: An investigation blames Stretford Conservative councillor Ian Mullins for a vicious internet campaign against a female colleague that compared her to Hitler.

July 7: London Assembly member Brian Coleman refuses to publicise expenses saying "only the mad, bad and the sad" wanted to see. He adds: "I'm not pandering to mob rule."

August 21: Gosport Conservative chairman Alan Scard says he would only pick a woman to stand in one of the party's safest seats if she was good looking. Asked if he was happy to support David Cameron's call to put more women in Parliament, he says: "If they are attractive, yeah, I would go for it."

August 26: Conservative MEP Daniel Hannan describes the NHS as a "60-year-old mistake" and hails Enoch Powell as his political hero.

September 1: Oxford University Conservative Association is condemned after students hold a sick competition to see who could tell the most offensive racist joke.

September 9: Tooting councillor Susan John-Richards quits the Conservative Party after claiming she endured three years of sexual discrimination from the Tory group.

October 15: A former Mayor of Brent, councillor Bertha Joseph, is suspended after taking money intended for a charity ball and spending it on clothes.

October 22: Former adviser to Margaret Thatcher and vicechairman of Goldman Sachs Lord Griffiths defends bankers' bonuses and says taxpayers should "tolerate the inequality".

November 2: Disgraced Tory MP David Wilshire compares the treatment of politicians over their expenses claims to the plight of Jews in Nazi Germany.

November 20: An Orpington councillor, Peter Hobbins, is suspended from the Conservative Party after sending emails ranting that Asian prospective parliamentary candidates do not have "normal sounding" English names.

December 7: Tory candidate for Dorset South changes his quadrupled-barrelled name, Richard Grosvenor Plunkett-Ernle-Erle-Drax, to Richard Drax on posters.

December 31: MEP Daniel Hannan says that no "sane" person would support the NHS.

As I was taught at Socialist Sunday School: "Never trust a Tory!" But I leave the final word to that great Old Etonian Boris Johnson:

"If gay marriage was OK ... then I saw no reason in principle why a union should not be consecrated between three men, as well as two men; or indeed three men and a dog."

And let's not forget Thatcher:

No one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions; he had money as well.

Like I say: DO NOT TRUST!!!

I would sooner hack off my own testes on a platform in George Square in broad daylight, with a rusty chisel and no anaesthetic, having just necked a gallon of liquidised shite and licked my lips, than Trust a T*ry.

but you trust Labour, even after 13 years of lies. :surprised::shocked:

you have some serious issues there mate :confused1::wacko:

I do indeed; mainly with evil, elitist, anti-working class political thugs like Tories and their far-right bedfellows.

A few disingenuous senior party hacks, including power-hungry leaders, does not an untrustworthy movement make.

You would think so but labour proved and continue to prove otherwise.

labours problem is that without those "hacks" you would/will not be in power.

Thanks for clearing that up for me, JB.

Appreciated. :thumbsup2:

Btw, you've lost me on the petition issue: what are these reasons which are simple enough to understand?

 It is different down Hamilton way. No kiddin it's like 2nd generation Chernobyl, add a couple of banjos, some tumbleweed and a spitoon....... but I'm a Glaswegian and see myself as a missionary/cultural envoy from the Civilised City out here to try to bring learning and culture to the natives! ;) Let's imagine your bro's wife is an uberbabe (I know-sexist pig!) with a fetish for lycra, plastic hats and reflective wrap around shades. You're gonnae say "no"?

Absolutely - uberbabe or not - it's an unwritten law between a band of brothers - like not cracking onto your mate's bird/wife etc

edit to say - maybe it's different for you being married to (in your own words) a "witch" but that's no excuse for creepy behaviour.

p.s. the lycra gig isnae for me either - sorry to disappoint! :thumbsup2:

<long post snipped>

true to form, (1) this dossier of shame, (2) compiled by Labour and entitled "A Year In The Nasty Party" proves that the Tories are still as bad as ever.

1. fair number of belters and some genuine lol's in there.

2. i'm sure if the tories (or any other party) compiled a 'dossier of shame' on labour (or any other party), they could come out with a similar lengthly list, proving labour (or whatever other party such a dossier focuses on) is still as bad as ever. In short, they are all as bad as one another.

People should not be afraid of their governments or political parties. Governments and political parties should be afraid of their people.

Usual anti-Tory rant from this side mate; can't help it, just think of their smug smarmy leaders - past and present - and my fingers start a-tappin'. Expect more... No pasarán!

No chips on the shoulder though, they're all owned by your pro-establishment mates over in the east end of Glasgow <_<

P.S. I didn't especially care for New Labour either. How can you care for a party that kicks you out!

P.P.S. Bet Gail S's acquittal has ruined your weekend. She'll probably go on to make a mint from the capitalist press. Even if the wee man is found guilty we'll have "Gail's torment and anguish" front pages and serialisations etc. I hope some procurator fiscal gets his ar** toed for allowing charges to be brought. As I've said before, a total waste of public money; but then again, some on this DG won't be happy until every socialist is behind bars -

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --

Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists...

You're spot on mate; that's all it was - an attempt at humour! Some of it was that bad it was LOL funny. I could probably come up with similar for New labour - Prescott would probably get his own page!

But primarily aimed at some of the not so young Conservatives who grace the pages of this DG. They really should know better; methinks the port has addled their collective brain!

1. Seriously glad that you're okay - was a little worried and want you fit and well to be able to post when your coalition falls on it's ar**. It's but a matter of time; but gawd knows what will take over as New Labour Mark II has no answers.

2. For a Millwall fan (home of the NF and all that...) I actually quite like Bob Crow even if he's not doing what Sheridan did in the past i.e. to the average wage of a skilled worker. But remember I'm not his biggest fan; but fair's fair. What he (Crow that is) does is to fight for his members and if you check year-on-year wage increases, he's doing a good job. In private industry he'd probably be bonused up to his sphincter. Wages are actually:

His basic pay rose from £84,923 in 2008 to £94,747 at the end of last year, according to figures published by the RMT. Bob Crow's overall pay package rose from £122,167 to £133,183 last year.

On top of this he claimed £9,989 in expenses and £2,376 in travel costs, taking his total income to £145,548. All declared and legitimate. Oh, and the train operators also benefited from increased profits (and a great subsidy from government than when nationalised under Old Labour); so everyone was happy. As productive a partnership between the employer and worker as you'll get. Now what the Tories want to elsewhere; well, we all know what that is...

But I guess the rail shareholders won't be happy when I get in power nationalise the railways and have Tories picking up dog sh** with their teeth as part of their community service for crimes against the State. A wee footnote is that since de-nationalised, the rail subsidy has increased by over 300% year-on-year. Guess who's footing the bill? Yip, mugs like you and me. Fiscal madness and not in the interests of anyone.
