From a similar part of the field too and into the same spot of the city end goal, to give us a 1-0 lead. Only for the numpty bunnet to replace an uninjured Sid with the silky skills of Brown Ferguson, shortly followed by the inevitable equaliser and the loss of two otherwise certain points. Of the goals I did see this season, I particularly liked Lovell's v ICT because of the build up and execution. Some crackers mentioned on this thread from past seasons, mind!! A cracker that pops into my mind is a lovely goal Ian Cameron scored, cutting in from the left and curling a beauty past Gilles Rousset at Tynecastle, I think to put us 5-1 up!? Fantastic stuff. Doolan's on Saturday was a lovely strike, fit to win any match. Can't really think of my favourite ever Thistle goal, for sheer celebration it would probably need to be Billy Gibson's free kick at Peterhead, or for drama, maybe Andy Gibson's winner at Dens in the Scottish Cup. He received the ball at the left end of the halfway line and beat the whole team in an amazing slaloming run before squeezing the ball past the keeper.
