jags365
Anyone have any tips as to where is doing the best exchange rate? The best I've seen so far is the 'Cash Converters' (blue/yellow shop) in Partick, but don't know if I trust them. Any ideas?

I would also recommend checking as to what charges (if any) your bank would hit you with for making an ATM withdrawal. Every ATM in €uroland takes Maestro cards. jags365
Probably about £800 worth roughly. I probably should go into the bank at some point as they have me on a childs account even though I'm 20....

Exchange £200 or so and do the rest via ATM, unless you need a larger amount for checking into hotels if you don't have a credit card?!? Not to be nosey again, whereabouts are you travelling to? uberteeb
Get yourself a nationwide account, free withdrawals from ATM's in the EU. It used to be worldwide but unfortunaely they have stopped it in loads of countries now.
