Jaggernaut
Sitting in my Kyoto flat, it's 9 pm, and just about to watch the match. I'd just like to say..... Monra Japan!
northernsoul
Going well so far 1v0 Japan. The guy in the Sky Sports News Studio is gutted, as he was expecting a comfortable victory.
graham
The ITV commentator managed to last all of seven minutes before he used the word "inscrutable".
erzamacaroonbars
Inscruitable is a Japanese word which means "did you know we won the World Cup in 1966?" I have now stopped listeninig.
Jaggernaut
Tough luck for the Japanese goalie; playing an absolute blinder, including a penalty save, only to get beaten by a diving bullet header....by his own defender!
Smurph
Lucky lucky lucky. Really, England look nothing special. When Rooney's not on form they have nothing up front. Good stuff. I think Yuki Abe should be Scottish.
Jaggernaut
Poor Japan; they didn't deserve that. But at least I think they did the rest of the world a service by showing how ordinary the current England team is.

I think Yuki Abe should be Scottish. ABE Yûki plays for URAWA Red Diamonds -- the most popular team in Japan. The Club will not release him unless he wants to leave. By the way, KAGAWA Sinzi (Shinji) was not chosen by the manager, but has been signed by Borussia Dortmund. He is one of the best offensive players of Japan, but I can understand why he was not chosen -- Japan has to fight defensively.
