An interesting perspective generally but their view that SPL likely next year to be expanded by two. Have they let the cat out of the bag or is it merely speculation? On re-structure, reading between the lines the Doncaster chap has tried to get the SPL to agree to a 16 (or more) team league but failed to get the ridiculously high majority necessary. Geoff Brown would for one have voted against expansion. The compromise 14 team league with a 6/8 split got more sympathy. However (I'm really just wildly guessing here) some of the clubs in favour of expansion were voting that way partly because they are wanting to do away with the current 6/6 split. So perhaps the 14 team set up is not that high on the SPL agenda as we previously thought.
