Dark Passenger
Playing their home League Cp tie at Firhill at the stadium of dreams while we're in Forfar. Possibly a sign that they will share with us during the Commonwealth year.
Lin1876
I've always liked Queen's Park, so good to see they're going to be at Firhill (once). Hope they manage to shock Airdrie.
Spam Valley Jag
Did Queens Park no skelp Aberdeen on penalties at Firhill a few years back?
Guy Incognito
Nah, I think they took Aberdeen to penalties, or maybe just extra time, but the Dons won in the end. I am pretty sure it was the same year that Dunfermline beat them on pens though.
Thistle_1876
Queen's Park won on penalties at Firhill 2006 after a 0-0 draw.
sigesige00
I cannot understand why there is no relevant athletic stadium in Glasgow. Probably because of I am too influenced by the Japanese culture. In Japan, there are too many athletic stadiums because of the annual sport festival, and even professional football teams play in athletic stadiums. I do not understand why there is no decent athletic stadium in the largest city of Scotland. Probably Scotland should have built a new athletic stadium and Rangers should have moved to that stadium, like West Ham United are going to do. You may have something there as it would allow more room for the bigger goals. And it will be better for players warming up .. some grounds there is so little room players have to go up and down sideways.. it's ridiculous .. with a track they could sprint if they wanted. Keep up the innovative ideas!
douglas clark
One of the great joys of going to Meadowbank was watching the Subbeteo figures playing somewhere in the far distance. it was almost peaceful, like being at home.... So, no, I really don't think joint athletics and football stadia are a good idea.
