maryhilljag
Was good to see the club make our youth teams feel part of the title celebrations by parading the boys before kick off. Also boys received great reception from the crowd and after Stuart Bannigans performance today shows boys what can be achieved by working hard and being dedicated. Would like to also say boys were a credit to Partick Thistle Football Club by not reacting to the mindless pars fans who gave them abuse and hand gestures as they walked past them. My lad really enjoyed it. He was the first out with the 13's and had a big beeming smile when they heard the reaction they got from the crowd. Didn't know they got some abuse from the Pars fans as it looked as if they being applauded from where i was sitting. They were desperate to get on the pitch after the game but this wasn't allowed but a great day and experience for them. Maybe one day some of them will get to experience winning a league for themselves at Firhill. Edited May 2, 2013 by billko
