allyo
Struggle to get sufficient support to Doolan as it is. Don't see how dropping an attacking midfielder will help. Anyway many of the goals we lose are from set pieces when we have plenty of people back. I'd rather see the team working on doing what they do a bit better, not changing formations.

Three at the back isn't really an option with the players we've got unless I suppose protecting a lead. Besides Osbourne's our best player at the moment so I can't see the point in negating his role. Even when we played with three centrebacks in the SPL under Lambie, Shaggy as often or not took up a central midfield position. We can't keep a clean sheet with a back 4, so it must be an option? Sorry just actually read your full post! Valid points, but I do think we need to look at a change in strategy. Perhaps turn it to a 3-4-3 then to ensure extra support? Edited December 9, 2013 by cleveland steamer
allyo
I think what would be ideal is a 5-4-3, but I'm not sure we'll get away with it.
