Fawlty Towers
So who is going to apply: http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2013-2014/march_2014/job_vacancy_commercial_hospitality_manager
kni
Managing catering and hospitality requires a completely different set of skills to generating advertising revenue. Surely the latter is the responsibility of the Marketing Director, Jim Alexander or a specialist agency that reports to him.
Collins Out!
Jeezo that's a lot of weight on one pair of shoulders.
potty trained
Jesus Christ, a job with that responsibility will surely be one of the highest paid folk at the club! Or as suggested above, Jim Alexander can do it for free while he runs his own business.

AlgarveJag
I thought Maxi was the commercial manager… no?
Fawlty Towers
I thought Maxi was the commercial manager… no? Maxi was General Manager after McCall left then recently became Chief Exec. The job does seem a big one so hopefully who gets it is very good as maximising our revenue streams is important in helping us move forward as a club. Fawlty Towers
I was reading the Chairman's page in the programme last evening and he mentioned the importance of this role and how it could generate money for the club - does this mean that Sporting Solutions will not be involved any longer as it was always mentioned that Thistle did not benefit from people holding events at Firhill as Sporting Solutions got the benefit? potty trained
Their contract expires at the end of this season from what I recall. I was told last night, possibly the most incredible story from the corridors of firhill. Recently 20+ cooked hotdogs were found rammed down a toilet in one of the cubicles. Not sure if it was upstairs along from hospitality. Basically someone couldn't be bothered carrying the tray to the bin. So tipped them down the shunky. Sadly, it doesn't surprise me. potty trained
How did they know they were cooked? Were they still warm? Burnt on the outside, cold in the middle.
The Sunnylaw Jag
Burnt on the outside, cold in the middle. Sorry about that but I picked up a bug in the Tropics last year and I just can't stop eating and shitting. Going to hospital later in the week, they think I might have a tapeworm or an alien hatchling inside of me.
Members Willjag
Don't want to worry you TSJ but the guy across the road from me suffered similarly and his weight dropped to 5 stones (he was probably around 13 stones before!) The Sunnylaw Jag
Yeah but I don't live across the road from you so I should be okay.

Fawlty Towers
Welcome to Samantha Hume who now has this role. Can anyone confirm if we have seen the back of Sportng Solutions as that would be a start in improving the catering?
