David Stevenson
Apparently Sheffield want McGinn from St Mirren to join his brother there and have offered St Mirren £300,000 plus Lyle Taylor. My gaffer is a StM fan and he said they had been offered and rejected £100K. They could up their offer of course.
KAWB
That seems incredibly high. Is there a source or just talk thus far? Would Lyle really want to go to a team below us next season to be 2nd choice striker? Source. Would rather Taylor signed but he's out of contract and Shefiield may use him as a bargaining tool to get McGinn so maybe the poor lad won't have a choice. If Taylor was out of contract, they couldn't offer him to another club anyway. I think your source is confused to say the least.

Personally I don't care if you think its mince. Edited May 22, 2014 by KAWB
Tom Stronach
Point of order - it's Sheffield UNITED Taylor plays for, not Sheffield. Almost as irritating as people calling us Partick or calling Dundee Utd Dundee. Edited May 23, 2014 by Tom Stronach

RedLightningUK
Yeha but he will be returning to the town called SHEFFIELD. As specified in the post. Nugget.
The Sunnylaw Jag
Not one to quibble but KAWB does refer to Sheffield the team in a few posts previous to that one. Double Nugget!
sandbank boy
Get a life. Stronach is spot on. The names of teams are so important and dare I say it emotional, to fans. I care how the Jags are referred to and Partick isn't even on the list. I've said it before, we're ; A) Partick Thistle The Jags C) Thistle
